NOGA is the industry association of online gambling providers that bet on a safe, responsible and varied online game of chance offer in the Netherlands. There is a lot to happen for the association and its members in the coming months. For example, the Remote Gambling Act (Koa) will come into effect on 1 April, the online gambling market in the Netherlands will open six months later and NOGA members will also be allowed to operate under a Dutch licence. Reason enough for NOGA to present itself to its stakeholders on 1 March.
In addition, NOGA has taken the initiative to set up the annual NOGA Online Gambling Barometer: a multi-year data-driven study into the state of the (online) games of chance market, for example on the themes of canalization and responsible gaming. The internationally renowned research agency Ipsos is responsible for the Koa Barometer, which is conducted independently of NOGA and its members. During the webinar, Ipsos explains the methodology and the first results, after which the attendees can ask questions.
